His experience spans transaction origination, structuring, negotiation and execution, enabling him to consistently create value across diverse investment strategies.

He brings significant international experience, having conducted business across the United States and the Asia-Pacific region. This global perspective supports FutureCap’s ability to assess and execute cross-border opportunities and navigate diverse regulatory and market environments.
In addition, Michael has raised in excess of $1 billion for multi-asset investment funds, reflecting his expertise in institutional capital raising and fund management. Dylan Gray is an entrepreneur, investor and business strategist with extensive experience across finance, technology, private equity and growth-stage businesses.
He has founded, scaled and advised companies across Australia, New Zealand, Europe, the United Kingdom and North America, working across capital raising, strategic partnerships, commercialisation, organisational transformation and technology-enabled growth. His experience spans a diverse range of industries, including financial services, technology, health and wellness, consumer products and hospitality.
Dylan has been involved in the structuring and execution of numerous growth and investment transactions, supporting businesses through periods of expansion, operational change and strategic repositioning. His ability to combine commercial strategy with practical execution has enabled organisations to unlock value, improve performance and pursue scalable growth opportunities.
He is recognised for his entrepreneurial mindset and ability to identify emerging opportunities within evolving markets. Ben Thompson.
Head of Construction
Ben Thompson brings over a decade of experience delivering complex residential, commercial and mixed-use projects across the east coast of Australia to the FutureCap Team.
His career has been built across both sides of the industry — from hands-on construction and site delivery through to developer-side project leadership, feasibility, funding strategy and full lifecycle management. This dual experience has provided a clear understanding of how projects succeed, where they fail, and how decisions made early impact commercial outcomes at every stage.
Ben recognised that many developers and builders operate without the integrated knowledge required to effectively manage both the commercial and delivery aspects of a project. Traditional project management often lacks real construction depth, while builder-led approaches can lack broader development and capital alignment.
Today, Ben works directly with developers, private clients, lenders and capital partners to provide client-side development and project management services, with a focus on complex, high-risk and underperforming projects. His approach is grounded in practical delivery experience, strong commercial acumen, and a commitment to driving clear, controlled and profitable outcomes.
Louis Debeer
Head of Legal
Louis De Beer is an experienced solicitor and legal leader who joins FutureCap as Head of Legal, bringing more than two decades of cross-border legal, compliance, and executive experience across the financial services and property sectors.
In addition to FutureCap, Louis founded NXT Legal & Compliance in 2018, building a multidisciplinary practice that acted as a “one-stop shop” for financial services licensees, investment managers, lenders, developers, and property professionals. That advisory background, combined with senior operating roles, gives him a rare dual perspective: he understands both the legal architecture of a transaction and the commercial and capital realities that sit behind it.
His career spans senior executive and counsel positions – including CEO, CFO, and corporate counsel – across international organisations in the United States, New Zealand, South Africa, and Australia. This blend of in-house leadership and private practice equips him to lead FutureCap’s legal function with commercial discipline rather than pure risk aversion.
Louis’ expertise are directly aligned with FutureCap’s business, covering financial services and AFSL/ACL credit licensing, investment management and funds, lending and securitisation, property and real estate law, mergers and acquisitions, business turnaround and pre-insolvency work, and complex commercial litigation. At FutureCap, he is responsible for the firm’s legal strategy, regulatory and compliance framework, transaction documentation, and the management of legal risk across its lending, credit, and property investment activities.

Amy brings a detail-oriented mindset, strong organisational skills, and a creative flair to the FutureCap team. With a professional background in the Performing Arts — working as a dancer and performer — she has cultivated a high level of discipline, adaptability, and the ability to excel in fast-paced, dynamic environments. Adam Gubic
Business Development Manager – VIC
Adam Gubic is an acquisitions and business development executive with extensive experience originating and executing complex property and infrastructure transactions. He specialises in private credit and structured lending, with a focus on sourcing and evaluating asset backed opportunities and structuring capital solutions across the property and infrastructure sectors.
Prior to his current role, Adam served as Senior Acquisition Director at AP Wireless and previously as Director at AT Australia, a subsidiary of Fortune 500 company American Tower. Across these roles he specialised in originating and negotiating long term commercial agreements with property owners, institutions, and government stakeholders. Adam holds a Bachelor of Business in Banking and Finance and Marketing from Monash University and brings a disciplined, relationship driven approach to private lending and investment.

Eden has joined FutureCap with numerous years in the finance industry primarily involving staff management and administration roles.
She brings a wealth of knowledge around optimising processes and bringing the best out of a team. She gained this knowledge by holding an officer role in the Australian Navy which served as a Communications officer for 6 years.
